The best way to protect all the time and energy you have invested getting your CaseWare Working Papers file working perfectly, is to regularly back it up.
This process is simple and quick:
- Launch CaseWare by clicking on the icon on your desktop
- Open the Working Papers file that you want to backup
- Open the "File" menu
- Select "Back up..."
- Browse to a location on your network that is secure and backed-up by your IT department
- Check the box to include sub-folders
Finally, click the "OK" button and wait for the progress bars to finish
Note that in order to perform a backup, all documents (CaseView, Excel, etc.) from that Working Papers file have to be closed by all users.
