Should I contact Workiva to update Python?

No. The Workiva platform provides scripting capabilities built on the Python programming language, but does not utilize those capabilities. As an FHB client, we have built scripts in your Workiva platform to facilitate the functionality you are familiar with. Think of the Workiva platform as a blank slate; they provide the tools you need to, for example, automate your ACFR, but it is our development team that actually builds in the functionality, automation, and processes.
